Dear all, It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Delta Electronics’ EMEA website. Many of you may already know that, since it was founded in 1971, Delta has established itself as a global leader of switching power supplies and thermal management products. Today, it offers a thriving portfolio of smart energy-saving systems and solutions in the fields of industrial automation, building automation, telecom power, data center infrastructure, EV charging, renewable energy, energy storage and display. I am proud to be part of an organisation that acts responsibly as world-class corporate citizen that is guided by its mission statement: “To provide innovative, clean and energy-efficient solutions for a better tomorrow.” To that end, I’m excited to see how Delta leverages its core competence in high-efficiency power electronics and its CSR-embedded business model to address key environmental issues, such as climate change. In order to help create a better future for everyone, Delta serves its customers through its sales offices, R&D centres and manufacturing facilities that are spread over close to 200 locations across five continents. While Europe, Middle East and Africa are some of the world’s most diverse regions with numerous untapped opportunities, they are also among its most complex. My vision is to work with Delta’s internal and external partners to implement strategies and a local-market focus tailored to the needs of each territory, as they are strategic for Delta’s future growth. Long term, my goal for Delta EMEA is to further develop its status as a pioneer in energy-efficient infrastructure technologies across EMEA. To realise that vision, I believe that we can leverage Delta’s formidable global resources to further accelerate the company’s growth and success across EMEA. Mr. Sharma is the President of Delta Electronics Europe, Middle East and Africa Region, and is responsible for building Delta’s EMEA business platform to deliver sustainable growth in diverse business and geographical areas. With Europe, Middle East and Africa being strategic regions for Delta’s future growth, Mr. Sharma applies his skills and experience to address EMEA’s business and geographical challenges, approaching each of those sub-regions with tailor-made strategies and focus, in order to drive sustainable growth for Delta in the region.

Mr. Sharma has many years of experiences in the electronics and communications industry. An engineer by education, he has considerable expertise in business execution, management and strategic development. He has held senior positions within Delta since 2003, when it acquired his previous employer, Ascom.

Mr. Sharma invigorated, inspired and lead Delta’s India organization as a Managing Director. Under his guidance, it became a market leader across several business verticals while delivering a strong and tangible performance in the last few years. In that time, Mr. Sharma built and nurtured highly-capable engineering and R&D teams that have expanded to become a valuable and highly-prized asset within the company.

He has also been instrumental in transforming a handful of employees into a strong, agile organization. As such, through his team, he created a now established presence for Delta trusted by its customers.
